At the start of summer, we reported that the TSA was instituting “self-segregation” airport security lines at twelve airports across the country.

As highlighted by Olivia Sterns on ABCNews.com, the Transportation Security Administration announced plans to roll out new scanners to 21 of the nation’s busiest airports. The images displayed on these new scanners allow TSA screeners to literally see through passengers’ clothing to reveal any hidden weapons.
